Quick Trip (Not The Gas Station)

I took a quick trip down to the cabin on Saturday to mow and check things out. I knew there hadn't been much rain over the past 3 weeks so I was anxious to check on everything that I had planted on Memorial Day weekend. It turned out that everything except the plot screen by the cabin was growing very well although things were starting to get a bit dry. I was happy to see that some rain came through yesterday after I left.

I had thought about putting up a couple of trail cameras but decided to hold off until next trip. I tend not to get a lot of good pictures through this part of the summer and the weather and bugs don't treat my cameras nicely. Even though it was a very short trip, I did manage to snap a few pictures. Enjoy!

Plot screen on the big field
Oats and clover in the small field
Fall planted clover in the big field proving lots of forage
Clover in the Ridge food plot growing well
View from the Southeast end of the Ridge food plot
9 of 12 planted pumpkin mounds are up and growing well
Only 1 watermelon plant up so far
A few of the apple trees are loaded
Some pears too!
